El Primer Mundo - Liga Miami Cigars
The Liga Miami stands apart from El Primer Mundo's other lines, it’s not just different tobacco and a different set of hands rolling the cigars, they are actually constructed differently as well.
The filler is bunched using the entubado method (also referred to as “entubar”), meaning that every filler leaf is painstakingly rolled into a tube. The point of all the extra time and effort is to ensure the finished cigar has a good draw. Additionally, to hold the filler in place, two binder leaves are used, which is an unusual step that makes rolling the cigar easier.
Creator of El Primer Mundo Cigars - Sean Williams, worked with Willie Herrerra of El Titan de Bronze to make this cigar and it is hand-rolled on Calle Ocho in Little Havana, Miami, FL. It's rolled with a double binder and completed with a triple cap. The filler is Nicaraguan and Dominican with three ligero leaves and is wrapped with an Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper. It's a very powerful cigar but amazingly smooth and could sneak up on you if you're not careful.
El Primer Mundo - Liga Miami Cigars are available in the following size only (Sean Williams is working on additional sizes that should be available soon):
